How We Met

After our cat India died, we went to Paris Animal Welfare Society to meet “Frosty” who later became Krishna. While I was thoroughly enchanted with Krishna during the visit, my husband Graham spent his time petting “Vandy,” a dilute tortoiseshell who was Krishna’s cage mate. We decided to get both cats, and to this day, they are good buddies. Pickles is the alpha cat of the house, and she regularly bullies Thelma, Louise, and Radha, but she never tries to exert her authority over Krishna. She can be found snuggled up with Krishna on a lazy afternoon. I imagine they are both so happy to be together and no longer living in that cage.
