I am a cat woman, not THE cat woman. You won’t see me scaling buildings in a catsuit and mask or seducing Batman, but you might catch me scooping litter or dispensing food. In a home with nine indoor cats, I’m a footnote in the number of heartbeats wandering the halls. My cats bring me joy, frustration, headaches, and laughter. They brighten my life, and I hope they will brighten your life.
As a lifelong cat lover, I have amassed quite a lot of stories, experiences, cat toys, and vet bills. Most of all, I enjoy the day-to-day bizarreness of a multi-cat household. For instance, right now, as I type, Thelma and Louise are sharing the same food bowl. Actually, sharing is a term I use loosely, Louise growls the entire time they eat together. It’s the interactions between the cats and with their environment that make me laugh daily. I will share these funny glimpses into my clowder of cats, and along the way, I will share tips, tricks, and favorite products I have discovered.
